Created by a mom who knows how quickly those pieces of artwork can accumulate and how challenging it can be to store and preserve them.
They’re often forgotten and left to collect dust or even worse, thrown away!
Picartso offers a unique service that photographs and compiles your children’s drawings, paintings, 3-D creations and pottery pieces into a besoke, printed Artbook. Providing parents with a simple, elegant solution to declutter and preserve precious memories.
We also offer digital artwork (individual images of your artwork) and gift cards.

The Process

Pick your best art pieces, place them
in a box or art folder and drop
them off (in person, by courier or

We’ll work our magic and

FAQs
How does it work?
- Select one of our products and place your order.
- Pick your child’s best art pieces based on your order and place them in a box or art folder bigger than the art pieces.
Make sure your package is clearly labelled with your contact and order/item number.
Please note:
Use clips to keep pieces together.
Do not use elastic/rubber bands.
Do not roll or fold your artwork.
Cover/wrap glitter artwork separately to preserve and prevent the glitter from spreading to other pieces.
Wrap delicate/fragile pieces to avoid breakage. - Drop these off no later than a month of placing your order (in person, by courier or by Uber package) at our office:
37 Bath Ave, Rosebank, Johannesburg. - We will work our magic (professionally photograph, edit and layout your artwork).
You will be asked to check and sign-off the artwork before it goes to print. Your Artbook will be delivered
straight to your door once printed. Please note: all our Artbook orders include a link of your child’s featured
art pieces (sent to you via email in tandem with your Artbook delivery). - Let us know if you would like your original art pieces recycled (we’ll do this for you) or sent back to you.
- The whole process takes 4–6 weeks.
What will my Artbook look like?
- A4/A3 landscape, glossy hardcover, coffee table-style book
- A unique cover with your child’s artwork and their name as the title
- 30-100 pages of professionally photographed and edited art pieces
- A special dedication on the first page (optional)
Note: All our Artbook orders include a link of your child’s featured art pieces
(sent to you via email in tandem with your Artbook delivery).
How long will my Artbook take to arrive?
Your book will take 4–6 weeks once artwork has been received.
Kindly note that during promotions or high order periods, your order may take an additional two or three weeks to arrive.
How many art pieces can I drop off?
You can send up to 10 extra pieces above the book size ordered, i.e
- 40 pieces for a 30-page Artbook
- 70 pieces for a 60-page Artbook
- 110 pieces for a 100-page Artbook
Note, some pages will have more than one piece depending on the number of artpieces supplied.
What if I have a lot of art work?
You can print multiple Artbooks depending on your art pieces (e.g. one per term or one
per year/grade). We also recommend printing one Artbook per child so we don’t mix their art pieces.
Should you have more than 110 pieces, or wish to bundle all your preschool artwork in one book,

What happens to the original artwork?
Choose to recycle your original artwork (we’ll do this for you).
OR
Choose to have your art pieces returned to you (we’ll send these back in a Picartso Artbox for easier storage).
Can I get the artwork in digital form only, without the printed Artbook?
Certainly. Simply select the Digital Artwork option on our products page and we will send your images as a digital link.
Don’t forget to indicate if you’d like us to recycle your original artwork or return it back to you.
Kindly note, we keep digital links live for one month post delivery. After which, the link/artwork will be deleted from our server.
Can I send digital images as opposed to original artwork for the Artbook?
Unless professionally done/digitised by us, we do not recommend this.
We will assess the digital images sent, however, we reserve the right to reject images
photographed elsewhere, that do not meet our photography standard for printing.

Can I include a special message in my Artbook?
Yes, please write your message on the Artbook order page and we will include your special dedication in the beginning of the Artbook.
Can the artwork appear in chronological order?
We do not recommend this as it limits the creative flow of the book. We need to be able to move pieces
around to showcase your child’s creativity in the best possible way. Kindly note some pages may have
more than one piece on them depending on the number of artwork supplied.
Can I cancel my Artbook order?
Cancellations may only take place 2 days after receiving your order. Note, an admin charge of R250 will be charged. Send us an email to in**@*********co.za and quote your order number.
Cancellations after this time frame and after receiving your artwork will not be accepted. Your order can, however, be placed on hold until you’re ready to proceed.
How do I redeem my Gift Card?
Place your desired order and select ‘redeem gift card’ at check out.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, we accept artwork and deliver Artbooks nationwide.
Our services also extend to our neighbouring countries. Kindly contact us on in**@*********co.za
to make an order from outside of South Africa.
Can I reprint a copy of my Artbook?
Yes, you may contact us at any point to reprint your Artbook.
